Employment opportunities for people with disability

We create and connect you with disability employment opportunities that suit your skills and ambitions. In supported employment, you can build experience in retail and reuse shops, nurseries, manufacturing, fire services, grounds maintenance, textiles, packaging and warehousing, or office administration.

Many customers use supported employment as a launchpad into open employment when ready. Others choose customised roles with local employers, with our coaches supporting onboarding, workplace adjustments, and success on the job.

How Workpower supports your career journey

Your employment journey is personal. Our coaches listen, plan, and walk alongside you. We use a simple three-step approach:

Design your service – Get to know you, understand your support requirements and work together to identify your goals.

Plan your supports – Based on your goals, we will work with you and your support network to develop a program that breaks your goals into small, achievable steps. We then put together a plan to work together to achieve these, one step at a time.

Achieve your goals – We build on each step of the plan to achieve your goals and ensure you always have a choice and control over your supports. Once you have achieved your goal, we look to the next one while maintaining the skills and confidence you have developed.

Along the way, you can access skill-building options, including our Work Learning program that develops teamwork, communication, personal presentation, problem-solving, safety awareness, and workplace relationships—using practical, real-world learning delivered at your pace.
