School

For students with disability in Years 9–12, we help you explore options, gain real‑world experience, and transition confidently into life after school. Programs include learning using modern tools, work experience in our social enterprises, and transition support so you can plan your path forward.

Getting started with our NDIS support services

Accessing support is simple and transparent:

  • Connect: Tell us about your goals and support. Our Customer Engagement team explains your options and funding pathways.

  • Plan: Based on your goals, we will work with you and your support network to develop a program that breaks your goals into small, achievable steps. We then put together a plan to work together to achieve these, one step at a time.

  • Begin: We build on each step of the plan to achieve your goals and ensure you always have a choice and control over your supports.

  • Review: Once you have achieved your goal, we look to the next one while maintaining the skills and confidence you have developed.

  • We help students with disability in Years 9–12 explore options, including classroom-based learning, workplace visits, and transition planning with your family and school. Available across Perth and regional hubs, including Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Busselton, and Geraldton.

  • Learn focuses on practical skills for work and daily life: communication, teamwork, problem-solving, digital literacy, money skills, and health and safety. Our programs use step-by-step activities, videos and VR so you can practise safely and at your own pace in Perth and across regional hubs.

  • Yes. We offer work experience through our social enterprises so you can try different roles in a supportive environment. This creates pathways to traineeships, open employment, or supported employment services when you finish school.

  • No. We tailor activities to your current skills. Your coach will start where you’re comfortable and build from there, helping you prepare for NDIS working pathways when you’re ready.

  • Together, we set clear goals and checkpoints. Your coach tracks progress with simple tools and regular reviews, and we adjust your plan as you grow toward work, study, or supported employment services.

  • Yes. Learn includes job-ready skills like time management, communication, teamwork, and using workplace technologies. We can also connect you to work experience and supported employment services in our social enterprises or with local employers.

  • At Workpower locations across Perth and in the community, with options in Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Busselton, and Geraldton. Some modules can be delivered on-site at schools or workplaces by arrangement with our social enterprises.

  • Workpower provides NDIS-funded support across School, Learn, Work, and Life. Depending on your NDIS plan and goals, you can access skill building, work experience, employment assistance (including supported employment services), and community participation.
