Workpower & City of South Perth Launch Como Reuse Shop
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest Reuse Shop, launched in partnership with the City of South Perth on 20 August 2025. Located at the City’s Recycling Centre in Como, this new store marks our fifth Reuse Shop, expanding our mission to create meaningful employment for people with disability while giving pre-loved goods a second chance.
Workpower partners with TAG and Waalitj to deliver new inclusive employment Australia program
From 1 November 2025, Workpower will partner with Training Alliance Group and Waalitj Foundation to deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia program across six WA regions. The partnership creates seamless pathways between our NDIS programs and IEA for school leavers and job seekers.
Shirley’s Recipe for Success in the Life Skills Kitchen
Shirley is a Workpower Life Skills customer with a passion for cooking and a positive, can-do attitude. She completed the Shire of Belmont FoodSafe® Food Handler training with minimal support and now shares her knowledge to help peers build skills and confidence in the kitchen. With clear leadership potential, she’s working towards her goal of becoming a chef and team leader.

Meet Liz Schafferius – Our Golden Egg Award Winner! 🌟
Liz Schafferius, a dedicated support coach, was recently awarded the Golden Egg Award for January. Liz played a key role in helping customer Daisy achieve a major milestone—living independently two days a week in her own apartment. Through her hard work and collaboration with Daisy, Liz built confidence, developed safety plans, and supported Daisy every step of the way.
