Workpower partners with TAG and Waalitj to deliver new inclusive employment Australia program
Workpower is thrilled to announce our role in the Federal Government’s new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program, set to replace the Disability Employment Services program from 1 November 2025.
The Department of Social Services (DSS) released its IEA tender results in July, with TAG being one of 84 organisations across Australia to be offered business.
As a proud partner with Training Alliance Group (TAG) and Waalitj Foundation, we will help deliver person-centred employment support across six regions in Western Australia. TAG, together with Workpower and Waalitj, secured contracts in six of the seven WA regions they pursued, demonstrating our combined expertise and commitment to quality outcomes for people with disability.
Tanya Plibersek, Minister for Social Services said in her announcement of the tender results “Inclusive Employment Australia has been designed in consultation with people with disability. This new personalised and specialist approach puts people with disability back at the heart of the services, helping them achieve their career goals”.
Workpower’s involvement ensures that people with disability who are looking for work can seamlessly transition between our NDIS-funded programs and IEA programs. For school leavers, job seekers and our current employees, we will offer diverse employment, skills development and career options and pathways.
In the coming months, we will share details on how the IEA program will integrate with Workpower’s diverse service offerings. For more information about how Workpower can support your employment goals, get in touch today.
